Hi Laura, send me your email address and I will send you my postal address. My email address is contact@beverleypaine.com.

I'd love to review your book and add a blurb. Hopefully in time for publication.

Thanks Laura, I'd forgotten I'd contributed! :-)

I am so busy - why is life so busy? At the moment I feel overwhelmed and lost but I know this will pass. We're a bit exhausted from a lovely few days - lots of walking and four wheel driving through exceptionally beautiful Australian countryside.

Let me know when the book comes out. We're passing our business, Always Learning Books, to our daughter and I'm hoping she will start stocking other authors like we used to a few years ago (before life got too hectic for us!)

cheers
Beverley

Hi Laura,
It has taken a while to get back to you as I'm not online everyday....too many other distractions! You actually are aquainted with the "ten speed gypsy". My son, Garrett, has been to your home for an overnight, oh, about 5 years ago maybe. It was your son's birthday and they shaved his head. Remember that one? We took part in the Medina hs group at that time and met probably thru Deb Bures. I saw your your article on Free Range Learning, loved it, and decided to join this web group. How to have a gypsy lifestyle, Hmmmm.... I'm working on that one too. Perhaps I should become Garrett's student.

Hi Laura,
I haven't looked at this site for a few months and just caught up with all the topics--I'm especially moved by the discussion on Children as Mirrors of Society--thinking of some replies to this. Are you finished with the book? I'm curious to know. Anyway, hope we can connect sometime in the near future.

Hi Laura,

I have a question about inviting others to join this group. If I have any individuals to recommend, how do I go about inviting them? Does this need to go through you or can I just invite someone?

Thanks,
Lisa

Hi! Laura, I'm releived that you are neither a penguin nor a little old lady. I have to search for a photograph of mine, so that you all don't think I'm a grey shadow!

"If I had the influence with the good fairy who is supposed to preside over
the christening of all children, I should ask that her gift to each child in
the world be a sense of wonder so indestructible that it would last
throughout life, an unfailing antidote against the boredom and
disenchantment of later years, sterile preoccupations with things that are
artificial, the alienation from the sources of our strength."
